Could someone from Farm Planner see my Content?
You have control over who can see your Content. We limit the use of your Content to ensure that no one at Farm Planner can view it without your consent, except when you give explicit permission or it is necessary to comply with legal obligations.
Specifically:
• Improving technology: To help refine or enhance our technology, we may ask for your permission to review portions of your Content. For example, if a new feature suggests related notes relevant to your Content, we may offer you the opportunity to provide feedback on how well the feature works, along with a sample of the relevant Content, to ensure the feature provides appropriately personalized suggestions. Such access to your Content is only granted with your explicit permission and is subject to strict privacy rules and data access controls. Providing this permission is entirely voluntary.
• Customer Support: If you contact our Customer Support team for assistance with specific parts of the Content in your account (e.g., if you cannot find a note you believe should be in your account), we may request temporary permission to view your Content. This permission ends once the issue is resolved.
• Terms of Service violations: If we become aware of a potential violation of our Terms of Service, we may suspend or close your account until the problematic material is removed. In such circumstances, we would only review the Content in your account if you provide consent or if it is necessary to comply with legal obligations, including protecting your safety or that of others.
• Testing and improving products: To test and improve our product offerings for users, we use aggregated data that does not contain any personal information, does not identify any individual, and cannot be linked to any specific user. This policy does not apply to such anonymized/de-identified data.
Does Farm Planner share or disclose my information?
Farm Planner does not sell or rent your information. Here are the situations in which we might disclose your information—and even then, only the minimum necessary:
• Sharing with service providers: We share your information with service providers who process data on our behalf, such as customer management systems. For example, these service providers help us:
• Operate, develop, and improve the features and functionality of the Farm Planner Service.

In most cases, you can manage your information simply by logging into your account and editing the information directly within the Farm Planner Service.

How long does Farm Planner store my information?
We make the Content you store in Farm Planner easily accessible to you until you decide to delete it.
If you delete Content, it will no longer be accessible to you or others who may access the Farm Planner Service. The backup systems of the Farm Planner Service may retain residual copies of deleted Content for up to one year due to the nature of these systems’ operations.
For users who remain inactive for extended periods, we may close your account to comply with legal obligations and in accordance with our data retention policy. If this happens, we will attempt to notify you before taking any action.
What happens if I want to stop using Farm Planner?
As described above, you can delete your Content at any time and stop using the Farm Planner Service whenever you wish.
What happens if Farm Planner closes my account?
If Farm Planner disables your account due to a violation of our Terms of Service, you can contact us to request the deletion of your Content. We will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our legal obligations.
Where does Farm Planner store my information?
When you use the Farm Planner Software on your device, some of your data will be stored locally on that device.
When you sync your computing device with the Farm Planner Service, that data will be replicated to cloud servers. This means that if you store information in or send data to the Farm Planner website or Farm Planner Software and sync such Farm Planner Software with the Farm Planner Service, you acknowledge that personal information will be transmitted, hosted, and accessed in the cloud.
Does Farm Planner allow children to use its Services?
The Farm Planner Service is intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without parental consent verification, we will delete that information.
